Awful – but hilariously so.
Flawed in places, but essentially a fascinating film full of shocks, atmosphere, heavily-religious symbolism and one of the all-time classic twists.
Great Friday night popcorn fodder – well worth a rent.
Not as good as the first but still good, Saw II takes us back into Jigsaw’s world and gives us even more fun and bloody stuff to look at.
Better than its predecessor, Saw III still doesn’t capture the dread of the original, but it comes close.
