Reviews Featuring William Fichtner
Laughably bad sci-fi noir.
A triumph of technique, a failure of storytelling.
It’s big, it’s loud, and it’s a bit of an all-American mess – but it’s not quite as bad as you might expect.
Deserving of the praise lavished upon it, Crash's excellent cast of unknowns and A-Listers deliver a thought provoking depiction of the racial fabric of modern day America.
“Date Night” doesn’t break any new ground, it doesn’t offer any sort of existential treatise on life, and it doesn’t succumb to crude humor—it simply is funny.
If you fancy anything edgier than this self-indulgent rubbish then go fishing.
